Once upon a time, a long time ago, there was a clever man.  For this story, we will call him Jason.  ;-)

Jason lived on the outskirts of a small village called Lemmingsville, which was right in the middle of a huge forest.  People living outside of the village, would affectionately refer to the villagers as ‘Lemmings’.

To help make ends meet and pay for food and provisions, the Lemmings would sell wood gathered from the forest.  Every weekday, the men, women and children (it was a whole family thing) would go deeper into the forest, and collect as much wood as they could carry.

Then on Saturdays, each family got all their wood together, and carried it 2 miles on foot to a local sawmill.  The owner of the sawmill would pay them in cash, and this arrangement had been going on for many generations.

In a previous post, I talked about submitting my blog to blog and RSS feed directories. You may remember that I used a piece of software called RSS Submit, to help me automate and speed up, what I considered a boring and time consuming process.

Do you see the opportunity for making money here?

When you see new software programs coming onto the market, which are designed to help solve a problem, save time, improve productivity etc., they often create new ’spin off markets’ all by themselves.

Keyword research is one of the most important aspects of a successful Internet business.

• If you know how many searches your most relevant keywords are getting in your niche, it can help you to assess the demand and popularity for specific information, products or services.
• If you know how much advertisers are willing to ‘pay per click’ on specific keywords, it can help you assess if people are spending money in a particular market.
• If you know how many web pages, or advertisers are competing for certain keywords, it can help you assess how competitive a market is.

To help you carry out this research, there are a number of keyword software programs available.  Trouble is, there are so many of them, it can be hard to decide on the best one for your requirements.

With the launch of my new blog, I naturally wanted to get the word out, by submitting my blog feed to the various blog directories out there.

As you may know, submitting your website to normal search engines is a pretty worthless exercise these days, because it can take many months to get listed that way, if at all.

However, with Blogs and RSS feeds it’s a different story.  There are now a growing number of blog and RSS feed directories, who readily accept and encourage you to add your blog to their database

I have wanted to set this blog up for you for quite while, but other projects always seemed to get in the way.

Now that I’ve finally done it, I’m very excited, and really looking forward to providing you with a lot more useful and informative content, on a more regular on-going basis.

As you hopefully know by now, dreaming up, researching, and studying profitable business ideas, money making opportunities and marketing strategies, is my passion. This is literally what I jump out of bed for every morning. ;-)

Grasshopper Grabs The Ball From The Master…

I don’t know if you have ever seen or heard of the 70’s TV series: ‘Kung Fu’.  I used to watch it as a kid.

At the start of the show, you used to see ‘Grasshopper’ the student, trying to take a white ball from his master’s hand.  Each time, the master would be too quick for him, and closed his hand around the ball.

Then, after great sacrifice, training and study, you finally see Grasshopper snatch the ball from his master’s hand, before he has chance to close it.

The student finally becomes a master himself.
