Is This An Internet Marketer’s
Dream Come True?
Have you subscribed to my RSS feed yet?. Thanks for visiting!
Doesn’t this sound like a great way to run a business?
- An Internet business where all of the content is provided by other people for ‘free’!
- Other people keep adding new content to your site on an on-going basis, without you having to do anything or pay them for their efforts. They keep your site up to date, interesting to read, and looking fantastic.
Here’s a really good bit…
- Other people do all the marketing for you as well, WITHOUT you having to pay them a single penny ever for their time or effort!
- Oh, and I almost forgot…you also get to keep all the profits!
A brand new software tool was released earlier this week, and you really should get your hands on it.
It will give you the opportunity to set up one, two, three or as many super powerful viral websites that you want. If you like the sound of other people creating all your website content for you, and enthusiasticly doing all they can to send you traffic for free…this is for you:

ViralPix Website Ideas - Free Report

Hi Jason:
Are you running any of these viral pix sites? The only thing they don't cover in the sales letter are the hosting and bandwidth costs. I imagine those could add up quickly and you would obviously have to cover those costs every month in order to profit. How have the costs been for you?
Thanks.

Hi Jason
Could we have a look at the site you have created with VP.
Seems like all the "Gurus" are promoting it, but if I purchase it, I may as well get it via your link...so lets see the goods!
Cheers
Tony

Driverx,
I've only known about the ViralPix software for a few days, so I'm afraid I can't tell you what my running costs are.
To be honest though, hosting and bandwith costs are getting much cheaper as time goes on, so I don't see that as big stumbling block. For $30 a month, you can get 20GB of storage, and 100GB of bandwith every month.
If you found that you used up that amount of traffic and didn't cover the hosting, then it would probably mean that you are targeting the wrong niche, or your site isn't monetized very well.
I'm going to write a follow up report, giving you some ideas on the type of sites you can set up with ViralPix. That should hopefully give you a better insight into the potential of a site like this.

Hi Tony,
I have only just got hold of the software myself, because it was only released on Monday. So I'm afraid I can't show you an up and running site. I have set up a ViralPix site to have a good look at it, before telling you guys about it. I'm currently working on customizing it for the specific niche I'm targeting with it.
I have to be upfront with you though, I'm afraid I won't be giving out the address, because I would just be opening myself up to a load of copycat sites and competition.
There is a link to a demo site on the ViralPix sales page, where you can log in and upload some pictures to test it out.
As I've said above, I'm going to write a follow up report, with some ideas to get you going.

What about people posting pictures that could get you in trouble (like underage nudity or something). It seems you would have to look through every single picture that everyone uploads since it would be your server and you would be responsible. And the sites I've seen that use this software all allow viewing of the pictures right away. Thoughts?

DriverX,
I understand your concern. In the admin area you can view a thumbnail gallery of all the images that have yet to be reviewed.
You can quickly scan the thumbnail images to see if any are a bit dodgy. There's a one click 'reviewed' button, which basically says all the images are ok, and clears the admin area of all the images you have reviewed.
You have the option of removing a single image by clicking on a delete button under each one. You can also view each user's albums, and one click deletes their account if you don't like what they are doing.
If you have concerns over porn, I would look at setting up a site that is not specifically aimed at the teenagers or young men, so that hopefully, the users will be mature enough not to do this sort of thing.
This is a similar concern that you might have if you set up a forum, where people could start being racist, or abusive etc. It's one of those things that you don't really know until you test your market I'm afraid.
The way you have to look at it, is that other people are going to be adding all your site content for you, and all you have to do is quickly scan and review it. If you have a busy site, then that will probably mean that you will have to pop in a review the images more frequently.
However, what you have to remember is that it's a bit of a trade off. Yes you have to do review the images if you are concerned about certain pictures being uploaded, but that's a much, much easier and faster job than creating and uploading all the content.
Depending on what site you set up, you may find that you hardly ever get any problem images uploaded. It will be a case of monitoring it over time to see how often you need to go in a do a review.
You can also outsource the job of reviewing images to someone else to do, once the site gets busy/profitable.
I hope this helps,
Jason

Thanks Jason.
One question. Can the photos be held up from appearing until they are all reviewed?
Thanks again.

The way Viralpix comes in the box, you do not have a way of holding up the images, before they are reviewed. But, the good thing about the software is that they also give you the source code along with it, so that is something you can get adjusted by a programmer if you choose to, along with any other feature.

So what's the verdict on VP? It seems the only thing still out there is the hype to sell the software from affiliates.
Has anyone used Viral Pix? How well does it work? Is it worth the money? Any sites you can direct me to?
I'm more interested in it's functionality than it's ability to make me a ton of quick cash.

I knew of about 5 sites where I saw people using it with some good themes and concepts.
Problem is, it's a year an half since I wrote about and researched ViralPix, so I no longer have those sites listed down.
I installed the script on a spare domain I had to test it in March 2006, and from memory it seemed pretty good for the price. Because it came with the source code, you've probably come across sites using it, but are not aware of it.
There's a link to register for an account on the sales page, have you given that a go?
As with most software tools like this, the script on it's own won't make you money. You need an idea, a twist or a good incentive to spark interest, and get people posting images.

Thanks for the reply and info.
I just found it odd, and suspicious, that the only info I could find was on sites that appeared to be working for an affiliate fee. Few had anything to say other than the propaganda on the VP site.
I'm a bit skeptical especially when it comes to "experts" who promise a load (especially when they use the hype marketing format I see on the VP site). I've found no blatant negative info about Shawn Casey just that his books are outdated.
It's the functionality I'm interested in. This will be a nice add-on to sites I have. Any money it may help bring will be a plus but it's not my main interest. Fifty bucks is not a lot of money, especially if the software works well, but I’d rather not be scammed.
Do you still have a site running VP? You don't have to tell me what it is I'm just curious if you do and if VP has worked well.
Thanks again

Hi Jeff,
Apologies for the delayed response.
I'm not sure whether you are talking about a different script.
You talked about Shawn Casey, but Viral Pix is being sold by Jason Bradley and Patrick Stockwell. Unless ownership has changed, I didn't know Shawn casey had anything to do with it.
You also said about spending 'fifly bucks' but Viral Pix is $97. So that also confused me.
In reply to your other comment, I don't have a Viral Pix site running. Before recommending the software, I did install it on a spare domain, to see how easy it was to install and I give the software a good test drive. I signed up as a user, posted images and configured the admin area a little.
It looked pretty good, and was easy to set up and use. So I thought it was worth telling people about its potential.
I did know of at least 5 sites using ViralPix; two of them looked very promising. Unfortunately, as we are going back 18 months, I haven't got a note of their URL's any more.
